Privacy notice
This notice covers two different things that are easy to confuse: this website, and the verification platform the website describes. They have different roles and different answers.
Who we are
NETWORK NORTHWEST LIMITED, 65 Lydiate Lane, Eccleston, Chorley, PR7 6LX, United Kingdom. Registered in England and Wales, company number 14143803. Written enquiries about this notice go to [email protected], which is read by people rather than routed to a ticket queue.
This website
This site sets no cookies, loads nothing from a third-party domain and runs no analytics. The fonts are served from this domain, the diagrams are drawn into the page, and there is no tag manager, pixel or embedded video anywhere on it.
What remains is the ordinary server log kept by our hosting provider: the request, the time, a truncated network address and the user agent. It exists to keep the site available and secure, is not combined with anything else, and is not used to build a profile of a visitor.
- No cookies, first-party or otherwise
- No analytics, heat-mapping or session recording
- No third-party fonts, embeds or tag managers
- No advertising identifiers and no remarketing
If you write to us
We keep the correspondence: your address, what you wrote and our reply. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of what was agreed in a commercial discussion. We do not add it to a marketing list and we do not sell it. Where a thread does not become a contract, it is deleted after two years.
The verification platform
Where an operator uses the platform, that operator is the controller of the personal data processed through it and Network Northwest is the processor. We act on the operator's documented instructions, under the data processing terms, and we do not decide the purposes of that processing.
If you are a player rather than an operator, the organisation you registered with is the one that holds your data and answers your request. We can only act through them, which is not a deflection but the legal structure: taking instructions about your record from anyone other than the controller would itself be a breach.
Legal bases
For correspondence, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping a record of commercial discussions. For the server log, our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. For platform processing, the operator's basis, set out in their own notice.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR as applicable. Write to the address above. If you are unsatisfied with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom, or to your own supervisory authority in the European Union.
Changes
When this notice changes materially we will say what changed rather than only updating it. Because the site has no cookies and no analytics, most changes here will concern the platform rather than the website.
